The Deluxe Modern Range 1 has been crafted using a range of modern security hardware, for full homeowner peace of mind. This includes Winkhaus AV2 Slam Locks, anti-bump, drill, snap and pick locking cylinders, pencil butt hinges and 1.2mm thick skins to enhance solidity. The Deluxe Modern Range 2 comes with 66mm triple glazed and PAS 24 security laminated glass units alongside ISEO R7 anti-bump lock cylinders.  

Advanced Locking Systems

Our collection of aluminium doors is fitted with either Winkhaus AV2 multi-point locking mechanisms as standard (a Winkhaus keywind lock option is also available if necessary). When used with the stainless steel bar handles, the keywind locking systems features the cylinder at a mid-door height position. The locking feature is operated externally using the entry key with a keywind or internally with a keywind or thumb turn mechanism. Once the door is closed, automatic locking kicks in with two highly tensile steel hooks engaging with the handle needing to be listed. The locked door can then be opened up from the inside by using the handle or operating a thumbturn cylinder. Homeowners will only gain access with the right key. The Winkhause Heritage is a multi-point locking system which features a slam-shut operation where the lock keep will automatically engage once the door has been closed. To enter externally, you will need to use a ket. The key cylinder is positioned 3/4 of the way up the aluminium door installation – mimicking the operation of traditional period doors. Externally, the key operated locking system works with a chrome or gold ring pull plate and from the inside by a thumb-turn.
