General Description
The Attlas Front Door system is versatile and suitable for both domestic and commercial projects. Whether in dwellings or commercial buildings, Attlas Front Doors are suitable both as a replacement for existing door sets or for new build openings.
Expertly crafted, hand finished and made with attention to detail, Attlas Front doors uses the latest manufacturing techniques, high quality profiles, professionally applied colour finishes and the highest quality door panels, hardware and design.
Attlas Front Doors are a mechanically joined system manufactured with the latest CNC machinery, punch tooling and good working practices.
Available in both Stepped and Flush designs, Attlas Front Doors come in the following configurations:
• Single Open In Doors
• Double Open In Doors
• Single Open Out Doors
• Double Open Out Doors
Attlas Front Doors also come with optional side and top panels, integrated casement windows and a wide choice of frame profiles, ancillaries and accessories.
Profile Specification
The door frames are constructed from high-quality aluminium alloy extrusions conforming to BS EN 755-9 and BS EN 12020 standards, using 6063 T6 alloy. For enhanced thermal performance, the internal and external extrusions are separated by a polyamide thermal break.
The external aluminium alloy extrusion is pre-treated and finished with one of the following options:
- Anodised Finish: To BS 3987:1987, grade AA25 for a natural, self-colour finish.
- Polyester Powder Coating: To BS 6496 standards, available in a range of colours, including dual-colour options for interior and exterior customization.
General Manufacturing
- Cutting: Outer and sash frames are precisely cut with 45° mitred ends using Tungsten Carbide Tipped Saw Blades operating at approximately 3,000 rpm, ensuring exact alignment and a seamless finish.
- Joint Assembly: Corner and sash joints are assembled using mechanically fixed corner cleats, utilizing punch tooling for accuracy. Transoms and mullions are profiled to fit the frame and are secured with self-tapping screws, using minimal joint sealant for durability.
- Surface Care: For polyester powder-coated finishes, care must be taken to prevent gap sealer from contacting visible surfaces. Any excess should be immediately removed with a clean cloth to maintain the door’s pristine appearance.

Attlas Front Doors are designed to meet rigorous weather performance standards in compliance with BS6375-1. Please note:
- Low Thresholds: Have not been weather tested and may not exceed UK exposure category 800X.
