FRONT DOOR AND SIDE PANEL IN ROMFORD
In this Romford project, the homeowner was looking to replace their tired, weathered wooden front door, which had faded grey paintwork and an overall dated appearance. The original door was no longer providing the curb appeal or security they needed. The solution was a stunning Attlas Putney front door, powder coated in a sleek RAL 7032 Matt grey exterior, with a crisp RAL 9010 matt white finish on the inside.
This front door not only revitalised the property’s exterior but also brought superior security and thermal performance. The thick thermal door panel with an insulated core is framed by a strong, slimline aluminium frame, ensuring the property remains secure and energy-efficient. Set upon a flush track for easy accessibility, the door’s contemporary design is complemented by a matching glazed side panel, which features toughened satin obscure safety glass for privacy. The glass also includes a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars, and argon gas fill to maximise energy efficiency.
The finishing touches include a 1200mm cranked satin stainless steel bar handle for ease of use, operating a high-security multipoint locking system. Inside, a brushed stainless steel lever handle and thumbturn provide seamless operation. A brushed stainless steel letterplate, matching the door hardware, completes the door’s sleek and secure design. This installation demonstrates how an Attlas door can completely transform a home’s entrance with modern aesthetics and high-performance features.
